She has always enjoyed writing and has been a stringer for a newspaper, and honored 3 times by the Chicago Tribune for her letters to the editor. She wrote the textbooks “Humanities on the Go” and “Experiences the Arts” and contributed to “The Scientific Approach to Creativity: The Techniques of the Chicago School of Improvisational Theatre” by Les Golden. This is her first book for the general public. It was inspired by her firsthand experiences with the pleasures and challenges of being a senior. She dealt with many challenges as she helped her late husband deal with numerous medical problems and settings, and dealt with loss without adequate guidance, and hoped to give some of that guidance to others. She also wanted to encourage seniors to make the most of their opportunities, as she has done.  She is the author of Mastering Senior Life
